Uganda’s deep love for Arsenal turned into pure euphoria as the final whistle confirmed the title. Supporters poured into streets, held impromptu processions, waved flags, and even organized thanksgiving services. In many areas, businesses joined the fun with special promotions, while social media overflowed with videos of fans pouring soda over each other and chanting “COYG.”
“This victory belongs to every Ugandan Gooner who stayed faithful through the tough years,” said Solomon Kutesa, a leader in the official Arsenal Supporters’ Club in Uganda. “We waited over two decades — now we celebrate like champions.”
